Many activities including scuba diving, catamaran trips, jet skis and glass bottomed boat trips are available locally. Snorkel off the beach amongst the colourful tropical fish and watch the huge frigate birds soaring overhead or diving into the sea to catch fish. Turtles also swim in the shallows off the beach so you may be lucky enough to encounter them whilst paddling or swimming.
Two world-class golf courses - The Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane - are within easy reach.
An excellent selection of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are located in Sunset Crest & Holetown. Other amenities including the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre - with its shops, cafes & cinemas, plus lots more - bars, banks, a supermarket, mini markets, a butchers, an ice cream parlour, wine shops, fruit and veg. stalls, bakeries, coffee shops, a Post Office, medical centres, the Chattel Village shops (offering everything from souvenirs to gourmet food), and Sunset Mall - a shopping plaza with a small department store (Cave Shepherd) and a cafe plus other outlets - are also within easy walking distance.

This is one of 14 privately-owned condos set within lush tropical, landscaped gardens that lead down to the white sandy beach and the enticing crystal clear blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Outside facilities include a freshwater swimming pool (3 feet to 7 feet deep and approximately 30 feet long by 15 feet wide), a sun deck, loungers, sunshades and a shower.
This bright and airy property is very tastefully decorated and furnished in pretty tropical colours.
The lounge leads out to the large, private veranda offering a ceiling fan, wall lights, 4 comfy chairs & 2 foot stools, 2 side tables and a lamp. Relax on the veranda or on the lawn outside # 8 and enjoy watching the hummingbirds, friendly black & yellow bananaquit birds & sparrows - as well as the shy mongooses and little lizards that scurry around in the gardens. The swimming pool (attractively illuminated at night) is just a few metres to the left of # 8 and the beach is accessed via a gate at the end of gardens. Next to the gate you will find a BBQ which is available for guests’ use - also several sun loungers that guests are welcome to take to the beach.
The comfortable, spacious lounge/dining room - which has a rear entrance door that leads out from the lounge - includes a ceiling fan, a tower fan, a 40" flat screen cable TV, a DVD player, a sofa (that can be converted to a bed suitable for 1 adult or up to 2 children), arm chairs, a coffee table, side tables & lamps and a telephone for accepting incoming calls and making outgoing local calls - which are free. There is an additional telephone in the bedroom.
The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a ceiling fan, an oven & hob, a large fridge/freezer, 2 cool bags, a microwave, coffee percolator, toaster, kettle, an iron & ironing board, crockery, cutlery, utensils, cookware and glassware.
The air-conditioned bedroom offers a ceiling fan, beds that can be made up as a king size or 2 singles, a dressing table & mirror, bedside tables & lamps, a hairdryer and a clock/radio. For guests from the UK there is a UK style 3 pin electrical socket. The bedroom leads into the dressing area - with a ceiling fan, basin, ample wardrobe space and a small safe suitable for passports, credit cards and money. The bath/shower/WC room leads off from the dressing area (which can also be accessed from the lounge).
A large umbrella and a sunshade are also provided.
Pat, the manager - who lives in one of the Palm Beach Condominiums - will meet and greet you on your arrival at the condo and she will happily answer any questions that you may have regarding your stay in Barbados.
The rates shown above include maid service (3 times a week), gas, electricity (including air-conditioning), linen and towels (including beach towels).

We do not currently offer to pre-book transfers from the airport, however there are always plenty of vehicles for hire just outside the arrivals hall at Grantley Adams International Airport.
A welcome pack of groceries can be ordered to your specification. It will be delivered to the apartment prior to your arrival and you will be required to pay for the items after you arrive.
No smoking in the property.
This is a holiday rental property and cannot be hired as a party venue.
HOW TO BOOK AND TERMS & CONDITIONS:-

We will then e-mail you to advise whether the dates you require are still available. If the dates are available, once you have confirmed to us that you wish to make a booking, we will reserve the dates and we will e-mail you our booking procedure (outlined below).
Credit card payments are not accepted. This is in order to keep the rates low and to avoid high bank charges for this small business.
A sterling (GBP)money transfer for 25% of the total cost of your accommodation is required to secure a booking.
Once your deposit payment has been received by us you will receive a Booking Confirmation via e-mail, together with our 'Car Hire In Barbados and 'Before you Travel To Barbados' information.
Your balance payment via a sterling (GBP) money transfer will be required 8 weeks prior to your arrival at # 8 Palm Beach.
We will send you a balance payment reminder 2 weeks before your payment is due.

full payment will be required when you make your booking.

Cancellation more than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date - Loss of deposit.
Cancellation less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date - Loss of 100% of the total cost.
As with all holidays, travel insurance is strongly recommended.
