"Hi Irene,

We were very pleased with Alamanda. Lovely villa in a great spot. Difficult to tear yourself away from the pool. Also we must say that the restaurants bars and cafes in Lime Grove certainly add to the Holetown experience.

We thought all your info was exemplary and it was a pleasure dealing with you. We would certainly recommend you".

Gerry & Pam, Cardiff, UK. October 2016.

"This is a lovely villa in Holetown which has some super shops and restaurants - the walk takes
a few minutes.

The villa is on a residential road next to other bungalows and behind it is the local cricket pitch
which is used regularly and so you feel close to the community.

We spent 2 weeks here and the villa was very spacious for our family of 5.... 2 daughters aged
21 years and 17 years and elderly mother.

The swimming pool is a great asset and the sun loungers and outdoor furniture were very
accommodating, however the beautiful beaches and crystal clear sea is just a few mins. away, across the road and walk at the side of Discovery Bay Hotel.

We were well looked after by the villa manager Simon who was most helpful - and the maid, Avril who cleaned twice a week.

As the villa is so close to the amenities of Holetown, you don't need a car, however we hired one for a week to explore the island which was so interesting. We didn't take the buses but they are cheap and regular - but seemed to travel very fast !!

We all enjoyed our holiday in Barbados".

Katrina . K . Manchester, UK. August 2016.

"Fabulous location, beaches, bars, restaurants, shops all within walking distance but
quiet enough not to disturb you.

Top notch property with lovely outside area and pool. Everything you need and more. Already booked for next year".

Herts, UK. March 2016.

"Great location and facilities. Alamanda is well-maintained and equipped".

Sam - London, UK. February/March 2016.

"Irene - both Angela and myself cannot praise Peter and yourself  enough.

Our holiday was made pleasurable with your exemplary communications.

Alamanda was everything and more to give an enjoyable stay - and a lovely rest for Angela after her illness.

Breakfast on the patio with 'Green Monkeys' as spectators was an experience.

We cannot praise Penny the housemaid enough - she became our friend during our stay.

Take care and thank you as I open a bottle of Banks Beer and toast your good health".

Stan - Shropshire, UK. Jan./Feb. 2015.

"Greetings,

We had an excellent holiday in Barbados.

Alamanda was all that you said it would be on your web site.

The house suited us very well especially being able to walk to the restaurants etc.

Penny and Simon were terrific.

All the information you sent was spot on, thank you.

We will return.

Sincere regards to you".

Lesley and Gill - Essex, UK. Nov./Dec. 2014

"Hi Irene,

Barbados and Alamanda Villa were wonderful as usual !

We love Alamanda: great location, lots of room indoors and out, well-kept, very safe.

So nice to stay in a place that feels like a second home to us. We were well looked after by the property manager Simon , lovely housekeeper Penny , and your safe dependable driver Harold. We'll be in touch soon to see what dates are available for 2015.

We think that your web site is good and very helpful. Could not possibly get any more advance info. than what you sent Irene !

Thanks again for everything.

Cheers",

Ronan & Charlene - Ontario, Canada. April 2014. (2nd stay).

"We had a fantastic 2 week stay at Alamanda.

We were met at the villa by Simon and he welcomed us and showed us everything we needed to know about the villa and lots of great information about the local places to eat, drink and beaches to go to etc. The villa was cleaned 3 times a week by Penny. Both Penny and Simon were very helpful and friendly during our stay and it helped make it a great holiday.

The villa itself was ideal. It was spacious, spotless, welcoming and had everything you would need. The bedrooms all had air conditioning (essential) and the beds were very comfortable. The best part about the place is the pool and garden/outside seating area. The pool had just been updated and it excellent. Our son was never out of it when we were at the villa. We were even visited by a green monkey through the hedge one morning (make sure you have bananas as we ran out and he was not impressed with the apple we gave him).

The location of the Alamanda could not be better as all of Holetown is within walking distance. It take 2-3 minutes to get to the bars and restaurants of 1st and 2nd streets. The garage and Supermarket are only just over 5 minutes walk away and the beach is even closer. There is an excellent beach bar called Surfside. The restaurants are good, but I would especially recommend Nishi and Tides.

There is much to do and see on Barbados and the people are lovely, so it was a fantastic holiday. We hope to get back in the future.

Castleford, UK. March 2014.

"Hello Irene,

The villa was just as you stated, no complaints at all. Simon was very helpful and was only a phone call away if we needed him. Penny is a charming and pleasant housekeeper with a great smile and laugh. We enjoyed talking with her and will miss her.

All in all a great trip".

Bill & Theresa - Ontario, Canada. March 2014.

 "Hello Irene,

Great little holiday. Just wish it could have been longer.

Alamanda was superb - and Simon and Penny were real stars. Simon, in particular, put himself out to help us out on 3 occasions so we are hugely grateful to him".

Ian & Wendy - Dorset, UK. Jan./Feb. 2014

“Hi Irene,

We stayed in Alamanda for two weeks at the end of November & the beginning December 2013.

We found it to be a very spacious villa with a beautiful pool. It is ideally situated on the outskirts of Holetown with a short walk to the beach and all amenities.

The villa has very comfortable beds and ample cooking facilities including a gas BBQ. The air-conditioning was a real winner and we used a ‘Jungle' electric anti-mosquito vapour device which was 100% effective.

Our maid, Penny, was delightful and very helpful.

Kind Regards”,

Peter and Jackie – Touchdown B & B, Ventnor, Isle of Wight, UK. Nov./Dec.2013.

"We are back from a fabulous holiday at Alamanda in Barbados.

I would like to say thank you Irene for all of your help and advice when booking our holiday and for the fantastic holiday pack you sent us before we went. It was very helpful even though we have been to Barbados many times.

We thought you were very prompt and efficient when answering our e-mails, and would certainly use your services again and recommend you to all our friends.

Thank you again, we look forward to contacting you at a later date for booking another holiday in Barbados".

Judy & family - East Yorkshire, UK. October/November 2013.

"Alamanda is lovely. The villa and facilities matched our expectations".

Thanks again for all your help".

Ronan & family - Ontario, Canada. January 2013. (1st stay).

“Location, location, location - it doesn't get better. One walks across the road to the beach. Pure white sand, swaying palms and a warm sea. The magic is the house with it's stunning landscaped garden and alamanda flowering bushes. The pool and decking when one wakes - or to wallow in with a drink at the end of the day - not a bad conclusion.

The wonderful maid, very happy and made us feel spoilt. I can highly recommend Alamanda. We stayed a week in 2008 and have been back every year since”.

Sir. Robert G. Dodds - Chesham, UK. August 2012.

"Would definitely recommend the villa to family and friends."

Cath - Cheshire, UK. January 2012.

“We visited Alamanda in December and had a wonderful stay. It is perfectly positioned to access all the best parts of the island and only a very short walk (2 or 3 minutes to the most fabulous white sand beach. The house itself has all the comforts and facilities you would expect - with a great terrace for sundowners and a pool to chill down. Great stay !”

Julian – London, UK. December 2011.

"After all the excitement of our Barbados wedding, I would like to pass on sincere thanks from the family members who stayed at Alamanda in Jamestown Park.

The accommodation and facilities were ideal and we would particularly like to thank Alamanda's manager, Karen, and the staff for their kindness and help.

Theresa, the housekeeper, was very professional and became a huge asset throughout the exciting days of preparation and indeed, on the day of the actual ceremony. The entire family felt that she acted over and above the call of duty and would like to pass on our gratitude.

Our thanks are also extended to the gardening team who, whilst working in a non intrusive manner, managed to amuse three very lively and inquisitive little boys without letting it interfere with their work !

I have no doubt that Alamanda will become the venue for many more family holidays.

Sincere thanks".
